The Neurology Center of Beijing TianTan Hospital has 200 designated beds and a daily outpatient volume of 1000 people, making it one of the largest and most comprehensive disciplines in China. There are currently 128 doctors, and 7 sub specialized departments have been established according to secondary disciplines, including Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical Medicine, Movement Disorders, Cognitive Disorders, Neuroinfections and Immunological Diseases, Neuromuscular Diseases, and Epilepsy.
The Department of Cognitive Disorders is affiliated with the Neurology Center of Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University and the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Neurological Diseases. It is a specialized center mainly responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and clinical research of cognitive impairment diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia. Including outpatient clinics for cognitive impairment, assessment rooms for neuropsychological scales, and wards for cognitive impairment. The Department of Cognitive Disorders has a team of renowned experts and scholars in this field both internationally and domestically, as well as a first-class nursing team. With an extremely serious and responsible spirit, we serve patients with professional theoretical knowledge and rich clinical experience.
Department features: Professional neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment of cognitive impairment related diseases. The department has undertaken multiple large-scale clinical trials on cognitive impairment diseases both internationally and domestically. There are 4 doctoral supervisors in the department, 7 chief physicians, and excellent nursing staff who adhere to the concept of humanistic care and professional spirit, strictly follow the international and domestic diagnosis and treatment guidelines for cognitive impairment, pay attention to the individualized characteristics and requirements of patients, and provide high-quality medical services for the vast number of patients.
Main diagnosis and treatment scope: Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal lobe dementia, Lewy body dementia, brain atrophy, memory decline and other cognitive impairment diseases.
